Who are we as an organization?

Soulcatcher Identity Session #1

Growth, transformation, mergers, repositioning, leadership transitions, cultural change. Organizations are constantly asked to evolve while continuing to create alignment, clarity, and trust.

At the same time, many leaders experience growing fragmentation between strategy, culture, communication, and day-to-day reality. Transformation initiatives accelerate, yet employees struggle to connect with the direction, priorities become fragmented, and organizational narratives gradually lose coherence.

In this context, how can organizations move forward without losing clarity about who they are?

Everything your organization needs to succeed is already there.

The challenge is learning how to surface it, understand it, and consciously use it to guide decisions, communication, and transformation.

The strongest organizations rarely build alignment through purpose statements alone. They create it through a deeper understanding of what already exists within the organization: its history, culture, tensions, collective behaviors, organizational unconscious, and lived values, to name a few.

Who is this session for?

This session is designed for CEOs, founders, CHROs, transformation leaders, people and culture leaders, and executive teams, particularly those facing:

  • growth or organizational scaling,

  • mergers or integration challenges,

  • repositioning or strategic transformation

  • fragmented culture and messaging,

  • declining employee alignment or engagement,

  • disconnect between leadership intent and organizational reality,

  • pressure to evolve while preserving coherence and trust.

What we will explore?

During this executive session, we will explore how organizational identity can help leaders create stronger alignment during moments of change and transformation. Through concrete organizational examples, we will illustrate how identity work can move from the extraction of organizational DNA and the understanding of heritage toward the projection of a desired future, the reformulation of a collective vision, and the creation of a narrative people can genuinely recognize and endorse.

What participants will leave with?

  • a clearer understanding of organizational identity,

  • new perspectives on culture and alignment,

  • practical reflection angles for leadership and transformation,

  • a stronger understanding of the relationship between identity, culture, and strategy,

  • questions to continue the conversation internally.

Session format:

  • A concise session designed for busy professionals, combining identity reflection with practical, real-life application.

  • Date: 19/06/26

  • 45 minutes total: 30 minutes of conversation, insights, and concrete examples / 15 minutes of live Q&A.

Organizational identity strategist | co-founder of Soulcatcher.eu | Cover band singer

I am a strategy consultant specialized in organizational and individual identity, positioning, and transformation. After starting my career as Strategy Director within the European division of Dentsu in Brussels, I founded my own consultancy in 2009 to help organizations and individuals reconnect strategy, culture, behavior, and identity.

For more than 15 years, I have applied principles from organizational identity theory to explore a fundamental question: “Who are we?” whether at the level of organizations, teams, or individuals. My approach combines insights from anthropology, sociology, and psychology to uncover the deeper forces shaping behavior, alignment, meaning, and differentiation.
